RPaintLite is a comprehensive tool that offers full functionality with a limited selection of Paint Lines. In this version, users have access to the "ideal paint" and the airbrush paint "Ferrario Acrylic Pen Colors."

It's important to mention that RPaintLite provides 8 paint bases for each Paint Line. These bases consist of Black, White, and a varying number of colored ones based on your Palette selection. These bases are predetermined and exclusively used for all color recipes within the app. Once you've chosen your preferred Paint Line, such as Ferrario Acrylic Pen Colors in the free edition, you can acquire the 8 bases and employ them across your artwork. The 6 colored bases in each Paint Line have been strategically designed to cover a broad OPAQUE color spectrum, facilitating the creation of numerous mixable colors. Leveraging real paint spectra measurements, RPaintLite allows users to blend colors within the RGB/P3 space extensively, although not all RGB/P3 colors are attainable due to physical constraints—not a limitation of the application, but rather a result of underlying physics. Furthermore, users can discover an array of mixable colors outside the RGB/P3 color space by manually adjusting the paint base quantities on the "mixing" page and observing the Lab values.

RPaintLite is compatible with devices running iOS 9.0 or newer, supporting usage on iPhone or iPad. Even dated models like the iPhone 4S or older iPad versions can be revitalized into efficient Real Paint Mixing Devices with this app.

Artists can extract colors from images and calculate corresponding paint mixing recipes with ease using RPaintLite. This functionality is particularly beneficial for art students, painters with color vision impairments, or professionals engaged in painting conservation and restoration work. The app's capabilities significantly minimize paint wastage and cost overruns.

The app enables seamless conversion of Color Coordinates across diverse spaces including sRGB, Display P3, CMYK, HSL, HSV/B, Lab, Lch-ab, Luv, Lch-uv, XYZ, and xyY. Notably, Munsell space is not supported in RPaintLite.

Given that digital images often surpass the color gamut of real paint lines, RPaintLite aids users in approximating the (de)saturation value of an image to align it with the selected Paint Set's color gamut based on current mixing parameters—a heuristic approach that generally delivers accurate outcomes.

It's imperative to consider that paint colors from different sections of a tube or distinct batches from manufacturers may exhibit variations. Hence, it is advisable to mix small quantities initially to ensure that computed recipes align with your requirements.
